Directions

Directions from Cape Town: Quickest:

Take the N1 north direction Worcester. Continue through on the N1 direction Touwsrivier. Drive through De Doorns and over the Hex Pass. 2 km after the Hex Pass turn right on R318 direction Montagu. Continue 38km until you see the sign for Simonskloof. Drive 200m further and turn right onto a dirt road between the Batt shop and the local church. Continue 3km on dirt road to the T-Junction and see sign for Langdam Farm.

Scenic Option :

Turn at 2nd Worcester turnoff (Worcester/Robertson), drive through the town and take the Robertson turn-off. Drive through Robertson, Ashton and then you will arrive at Montagu. (Then follow directions from Montagu below)

Directions from N2:

After Riviersonderend take the Stormsrivier, Bonnievale turnoff, then take the Ashton/Montagu road.

From Montagu:

When you get to Montagu take any of the turnoffs to your left and then turn right into Bath Street. You will pass the 711 Friendly Store on your left and then the police station on your right, followed by the Uitvlucht Wine Co-Op and Montagu Wines on your right. This road (the R318 to Touwsrivier) also leads to the Avalon Springs turnoff. Don’t turn off at Avalon Springs, keep on the R318 for about 30 kms. You will go through the Keisie Valley, up Burger’s Pass and into the Koo. In the Koo Valley you’ll pass Concordia school (right), Koo Winkel and Slaghuis (left), Koo Community Centre (left). The second turnoff to the left after the community centre is marked Langdam. Turn left onto a dirt road and drive 4.5km and come to farm on left.
