Bella & Mick
01 September 2018
This adventurous and fun loving couple were nothing but a joy to work with throughout the wedding planning process. Both from Cape town, they loved the idea of having a small and intimate weekend away in nature with their closest friends and family. The guest list was kept to under 50 people, making it a very personal and special event.

The decor was very Rustic and natural. Bare wooden tables with garland runners, dressed with protea's and blushing bride, complementing the farms natural landscape and fynbos covered mountains. Each guest was given a miniature cactus or succulent as a parting gift, which also had their names, showing them where to find their seats.

We were concerned that it would be cold weather being so early out of the winter period. However after a week of rain, wind and even snow, the couple were blessed on the day of the wedding with a beautiful calm and sunny day. They had an outdoor ceremony overlooking the dam, conducted by the grooms father. Emotions were high and a few tears were shed.

After the ceremony guests enjoyed some canapés and cocktails and played lawn games as the sun set on this beautiful evening.

For dinner, guests were treated to a delicious lamb spit buffet with a selection of salads and vegetables. The grooms grandmother made a variety of cheesecakes (the couples favorites) and there was a DIY Donut stand available for guests to decorate and customize themselves.
