Carmin & Byron
07 December 2019
This awesome couple tied the knot on the most perfect summers day, after a long courtship (hence the #finallyafortune).
Carmin had a very clear idea of what she envisioned for the day and Byron just wanted to make sure there would be enough drinks to keep the party going in celebration of their union. We made sure that everyone was happy!

The couple were very hands on and became involved with planning and helped set up. As we knew we were going into "loadshedding season" they collected jars to hold battery operated fairy lights and candles. The results were quite beautiful.
Theme for the decor was copper, whites, lots of greenery and blush pinks. The couple had a vision for floating flowers above the tables (something we had not done before) and we love when people request things that make their wedding unique. All the hard work paid off and it was gorgeous!

Guests gathered on the lawn for an afternoon ceremony, followed by cocktails and canapés.

Luckily loadshedding only affected the period during the speeches and the rest of the night went on without a glitch.

The guests were treated to a fantastic buffet meal consisting of both a lamb and pork spit, as well as lots of roast potatoes! There were two types of cakes, chocolate and carrot, and mini magnums for dessert.
The couple also included signature drink specials at the bar, that they had named themselves for that personal touch.
