SELF-CATERING & FULLY EQUIPPED
Our cottages come fully equipped to make your visit as hassle free as possible.
Bed linen and bath towels are provided. The kitchens come fully equipped with the exclusion of ovens.
Each cottage has a built -in braai on the covered veranda, as well as a indoor fireplace.
Our farm shop at the reception stocks only some basic items, seasonal produce and crafts. Wood and ice are also available for purchase. It is recommended that you bring all your groceries needed during your stay, unless you have planned a trip into the Town of Montagu, where you will find the nearest grocery store.
Free Wifi is available at the cottages near the main house and reception.

Apple Cabin
A rustic cabin with fantastic views over the Koo valley.
Apple Cabin sleeps 2 - 7 people, has an indoor fireplace and outdoor
braai area.
There is a fully-equipped kitchen with 2 bathrooms and showers.
The 2 main bedrooms are separated by the kitchen and living area ensuring privacy during your stay.
A perfect place to relax with friends and a glass of wine.

Apricot Suite
The Apricot Suite is attached to the original old farm house but remains private with its own separate entrance and patio with built in braai. The 2 foot thick walls also ensure that you will not be disturbed during your stay. This suite has access to the beautiful farmhouse garden and catches the morning sun through the surrounding trees.
It sleeps 2 people and is equipped with a 4 poster bed, free-standing bath, double shower & a fully-equipped kitchen. It has an indoor fireplace for cosy winter nights and an outside braai area.
This luxury self-catering suite is ideal for honeymooners
and romantic getaways.
Please note: This cottage shares the front garden with the main house, which is also home to 6 friendly dogs.

Almond Suite
This second private suite with its own entrance and garden is also part of the original farmhouse built in 1912. Looking out over the orchards as they sweep up into the Langeberg mountains, this self-catering unit with private garden has a fully-equipped kitchen along with bedding, towels and a cast iron fireplace for chilly winter nights.
Almond Suite sleeps 2 – 6 people with a separate bedroom containing a double bed and open plan living area. The bathroom has a luxurious free-standing bath and shower.
Stepping outside brings you to the private braai area surrounded by almond and lemon trees, a beautiful spot to relax on the warm summer afternoons. Situated right on the edge of the orchards you can easily spot rabbits, a myriad of birds and even the odd porcupine amongst the trees. Lovely and cool in summer, cosy and warm in winter, this suite will keep you coming back to Langdam Farm all year round.

Pear Tree Cottage
This traditional country cottage can accommodate up to 4 people, with one double bed and two built-in single beds. Just a stones' throw from the mountain spring-fed dam yet still close enough to the old farmhouse to walk over for a chat.
Pear Tree consists of an open plan sleeping and living area, including a fully-equipped kitchen and en-suite bathroom (with shower). It also has an cast iron fireplace for cold winter nights, and braai area outside.
It is the best place on the farm to watch the geese and ducks enjoy the water or experience the snow blanketing the pristine green lawns around the old oak tree in winter.

Shepherd's Cottage
Shepherd's Cottage is set slightly away from the main farmhouse for a more private farm experience. This 2 - 4 sleeper cottage has a main bedroom with a double bed and a single bed that leads to the en-suite. There is another single bed that is situated in the living area. It has a cosy kitchen and a cast iron fireplace.
The shaded patio, with its stunning views across the fertile valley has its own braai area for long lazy afternoons with the family in your own private garden – if you are quiet enough you can expect a visit from the grouse, white-tailed buck and maybe even one of the bat-eared foxes.

Guinea Fowl Cottage
One of our more remote cottages, about 500 meters from the main farmhouse, it is our favorite for stargazing at night and total peace during the day. The cottage is a 2 roomed unit sleeping 4 with a fully equipped kitchen fitted.This cottage also has a cast iron wood fired stove to keep you warm on the chilly nights.
A built-in braai can be found on the veranda, surrounded by various fruit trees, plants and animals in the beautiful garden. A place where one can happily spend all day enjoying the birds and wildlife completely separated from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Pine Tree Cabin
Tucked away in the woods is this special cabin that is only made available to guests in winter. In summer Pine Tree Cabin serves as the entertainment area and facilities for the campsite. This cottage is only available from June to September.
Pine Tree sleeps 6 comfortably with a double bed in the open plan loft
and two bunk beds downstairs in the living area.
This cabin was especially designed to give you that feeling of being right in nature even when you are bundled up inside watching the winter wonderland unfold.
The unique experience of staying in this cottage simply cannot be beaten.

Plum cottage
Experience the tranquility and charm of Plum Cottage, a lovingly restored old worker's cottage that pays homage to its rich heritage while boasting modern comforts.
Conveniently nestled away from the main farm, Plum Cottage offers a secluded retreat, perfect for those seeking serene solitude. Delight in the captivating sunrise over the Koo Valley from the expansive patio, offering uninterrupted views. Embrace the day with an exhilarating outdoor shower and relish the nighttime spectacle of stars while unwinding in the wood-fired hot tub.
Plum Cottage comfortably accommodates two adults, featuring a separate bedroom with double doors opening onto the patio and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. For children or easygoing adults, a daybed in the lounge provides additional sleeping space while arrangements can be made for an extra bed for a second child. The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge, gas stove, microwave, glassware, crockery, and cutlery, complemented by an undercover outdoor braai. During chilly winter nights, the indoor fireplace creates a cozy ambiance for relaxation.
Additionally, Plum Cottage welcomes furry companions, boasting a spacious yard enclosed by a low stone wall. This pet-friendly environment offers easy access to the lower dam, catering to guests who prefer to keep their dogs separate from others and away from the main farm.
For those seeking more activities, the main farm is just a short walk or drive up the road, granting guests access to the main dam, pool, and hiking trails. Plum Cottage presents an idyllic haven for resetting and rejuvenating amid nature's embrace.
