Hugo & Zandre
16 September 2017
Hugo and Zandre, a couple from Malsmesbury have a great love for the Karoo and Karoo towns.
They came to us wanting a very relaxed and rustic wedding weekend with family and friends.

Zandre and Hugo were extremely easy going throughout the planning process and the only stress on the day was the weather!
It drizzled all day and ultimately the call to move the ceremony inside was made.
Thank goodness, as the bride made her way towards the ceremony, the heavens opened up and it really started to rain.
The bride was chauffeured to the ceremony by her father in his awesome gold vintage Ford fairlane

The decor colour scheme was inspired by red wine. Burgundy linen runners with all white floral and greenery garlands.
Amongst the greenery were desert roses and naturally occurring succulents from the farm.
Instead of table numbers, each table was named after a different Karoo town.

Guests enjoyed a delicious local meal, Potjiekos - made by the caterers from Protea Farm, a neighbouring farm.
The brides aunt baked a lovely two-tiered naked carrot cake, as well as individual carrots cakes in jars for the guests to take home with them.

Photographs of their wedding day was captured by Elana Van Zyl photography
