Jo & Byron

Jo & Byron are a South African couple that moved to Australia a few years ago. I had known Jo for many years as she is a very good friend to one of my relatives. While visiting family in South Africa, Byron popped the question.
As they only had a few days left in the country and wanted to have their wedding in South Africa, they came to us on recommendation. Without looking anywhere else, they booked our venue and we started the planning process from abroad.
It was no easy task but with lots of back and forth over email and the help of the bridesmaids living in Cape Town, we were able to create the wedding weekend the couple had dreamed of.
Friends and family came from all over the country as well as Australia to celebrate with this lovely couple.
The decor was elegant and clean with soft grey and white linen. Hints of a rustic country style came through with the wooden stumps and mason jars as centerpieces. Flowers were romantic and simple, all white and blush pinks.
The guests enjoyed a wonderful buffet meal having Lamb and fish as their main. Cupcakes were served for desert.
The wind decided to blow that day. However, that did not stop the guests from dancing the night away.
The couple also treated everyone to an awesome first dance, perfectly choreographed!
