Melanie &  Robert

26th March 2016

This fun and free spirited couple took a chance on Langdam Guest Farm.

When they first arrived to view the farm we didn’t even have a venue.

Just a few old barns filled with farming equipment and big ideas.

They had faith in the Langdam family and were able to share the vision we had had for the Farm.

So it all began. We worked for months to create the unforgettable day we had promised. Their wedding took place on Easter weekend, so of course it rained….

Boy oh boy did it rain. This, however, did not put a damper on the couple’s special day and the celebrations continued into the early hours of the morning.

The bride opted not to have any flowers and instead chose to use succulents in pots and naturally occurring elements from the farm to decorate the tables. Their guests enjoyed a delicious lamb spit for dinner and beautifully arranged cheese platters for desert.

The crowd made the most of the bad weather, keeping the dance floor full while it stormed around the 100 year old barn!

The relaxed atmosphere kept the weekend free of drama and fuss allowing everyone to focus on enjoying the union of these two lovely people with their nearest and dearest.

The photos from this wedding weekend celebration were captured by photographer Callen Jefferson.
