Michaela & Aeron
27 April 2019
Michaela & Aeron's wedding was the first wedding we have hosted where we didn't meet the the couple until it was time for the big day! Also the first couple to never see the venue with their own eyes before booking it!
These two, South African born and bred, had moved to Australia a few years back. Wanting a celebration with all their local friends and family they decided to get married here.

Michaela's mom and sister were given the task of finding a venue. All planning was done through them and via email with Michaela. No easy task, however I think we managed to work together to create the day that the couple had dreamed of.

The tones of the wedding were warm autumn shades of red and pink using a variety of flora including indigenous fynbos, contrasting beautifully against cool grey tones and silver highlights.
The couple got married outside on the lawn overlooking the dam on a beautiful sunny autumn day. They Incorporated Persian carpets into their ceremony decor, which complimented the colour scheme as well as the grooms awesome burgundy trousers!

Guests enjoyed cocktails and canapés after the ceremony, before making their way to the reception.

Fun and games were included in the evenings festivities for the guests and wedding party to participate in.
The guests were treated to a wonderful buffet dinner. For a sweet treat they had a red velvet cake made by a close friend.

Everyone danced and celebrated into the early morning!
