Langdam is home to eight unique cottages, thoughtfully designed to make your stay relaxed and effortless.
Each unit includes:
Fresh bed linen and bath towels.
Fully equipped kitchens with all essentials for everyday cooking (Please note: ovens are not available)
Indoor fireplaces to warm up those cooler evenings
Covered verandas with built-in braais for laid-back outdoor dining
Our charming farm shop, located at reception, stocks a small selection of treats, snacks, beverages and ice. For your convenience, we recommend bringing all groceries you’ll need for your stay — unless you’re planning to explore nearby Montagu, the closest town with a full-service grocery store.
Prefer to arrive to a stocked kitchen? We’re happy to shop on your behalf for a small fee or cater on request. Feel free to chat to us for advice on the cottage that will best suit your needs.
WiFi is available in all cottages except for Pine Cabin.

Nestled away from the main farm, Plum Cottage is the perfect hideaway for guests seeking solitude. Wake up to panoramic sunrises over the Koo Valley, best enjoyed from the spacious patio. Start your day with a refreshing outdoor shower, and soak beneath the stars in your very own wood-fired hot tub or plunge pool.
The cottage features:

Two daybeds in the lounge — ideal for children
A cozy indoor fireplace for snug winter evenings
The kitchen is equipped with all the basics you’ll need:

Pet-Friendly & Peaceful Plum Cottage welcomes furry friends, with a generous yard enclosed with a low stone wall. Guests enjoy easy access to the lower dam and a tranquil space away from the main farm — ideal for dogs who need distance from other dogs.

Just off the upper farm, Shepherd’s Cottage provides a simple comfort and no-fuss retreat with stunning valley views.
This quaint and compact unit comfortably sleeps two adults and up to two young children.
The kitchen includes all the basics for a comfortable self-catered stay. On cooler nights, the cast iron fireplace adds a touch of rustic warmth and charm. A shaded patio with picnic bench and braai offers the perfect setting for a relaxed sundowner and refreshing dip in the stone plunge pool. The garden is enclosed by a low stone wall and is ideal for smaller or older dogs.
Shepherd’s Cottage invites you to slow down, settle in, and savour the stillness of country life with the ones (and pets) you love.

Nestled against the original farmhouse, the Apricot Suite offers a private and serene escape with its own entrance, garden, patio, and built-in braai.
This luxurious self-catering suite sleeps one or two, making it perfect for a romantic getaway or solo retreat. The suite features a four-poster bed, a free-standing bath, a double shower, and a kitchenette with all you need for a simple meal. For chilly evenings, curl up beside the indoor fireplace, or step outside to enjoy the braai under a starlit sky.
This suite is not suitable for guests travelling with dogs.

Positioned alongside the original 1912 farmhouse, the Almond Suite offers a peaceful stay with its own entrance and private garden. Overlooking orchards that stretch toward the Langeberg Mountains, this charming self-catering unit invites guests to unwind within close proximity to the main fishing dam and hiking trails.
The suite accommodates two to four guests, with a separate bedroom with a double bed and spacious open-plan living area with two single beds. A cast iron fireplace keeps things cosy during chilly winter nights, and the kitchenette ensures all you need to cater for yourself. The bathroom offers a toilet, basin, bath and shower.
Step outside to your private braai area, nestled among almond and citrus trees and enjoy sweeping views of the vineyard and mountain from your own private plunge pool.

Perched high above the picturesque Koo Valley, Apple Cabin offers a rustic yet welcoming escape for up to seven guests. Surrounded by nature and farm life, it’s the perfect blend of simplicity, comfort, and breathtaking scenery.

The private stone pool can be filled as a refreshing plunge pool or add-on a hot tub heating unit for a peaceful soak with sweeping views.

Situated away from the upper farm just above one of our dams with sweeping views of the Koo Valley, Guinea Fowl Cottage offers the most secluded and private setting on the farm.
This cottage is ideal for up to four guests, it features:
A spacious bedroom with a double bed and beautiful views.
Two single beds in a separate open-plan area.
A bathroom with a shower, basin, and toilet.
You may choose to have the sunken plunge pool filled for a refreshing dip, or upgrade with an optional hot tub heating unit.
The outdoor area includes:
A covered braai area.
A fully enclosed garden.
Private pathway down to the bottom dam.
Inside, you’ll find:
A lounge and dining area with a closed combustion fireplace for winter warmth.
A simple kitchen equipped with a microwave, fridge, gas hob, and basic cooking utensils.

Tucked into the heart of the main farm, it’s surrounded by the lively rhythm of daily farm life, with stunning views of the main dam, vineyards, and Langeberg mountains.

A cast iron indoor fireplace, perfect for crisp winter evenings.
A compact kitchenette with all the essentials.
A bathroom with shower, basin, and toilet.
The covered patio is the perfect spot to braai and enjoy a sundowner while the farm settles down
into golden hour or enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast while feeding the roaming chickens and geese.

Nestled deep in the woods, Pine Tree Cabin is our budget-friendly hiker’s retreat, perfect for nature lovers seeking simplicity without sacrificing atmosphere. Available only from June through September. A warm, welcoming base camp for hikers and fishermen, offering a peaceful escape.
Sleeps up to six guests in modest, no-frills comfort:

Amenities include:
